The Grange at Stag Hollow

I had an offer to purchase Stag Hollow a few years ago. As many of you know, I was away more and more and the house was closed for up to seven months every year. I gave the offer a great deal of thought and realized that it was time to move on.

I had always admired the house at 28 Prideaux Street in town and as it was for sale, I decided to purchase it. "Old Ivy Walk" is an excellent location in the downtown historic district of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake with a courtyard for parking, a carriage house and deep garden. The property required restoration and modernization and as the project progressed amidst many meetings with the town Heritage Committee, I realised that I was already creating another B&B venue.

This time though, we'll stay open all year.
